Garrard Co. Rural Heritage Festival Pageant - Lancaster, KY

The 2010, date is August 28th.

 The Rural Heritage Festival Pageant is a open pageant to all Kentucky Counties.

The 2009, Garrard Co. Rural Heritage Festival Pageant will be held, August 22 @ the Garrard Co. High School. Staring with the Tiny Miss, Little Miss and Sweetheart Division Pageant at 4:00 PM and the Duchess, Princess and Queen Scholarship Pageant at 6:00 PM.

Sign ups will be on August 14 @ the Garrard Co. High School. Please come prepared to have your photo taken for the local newspaper. You may also mail your application to the address that is provided on the web site. Practice will begin on August 17 at the Garrard Co. High School.

This year theme is "Your Hometown Beauty's" The opening number will be done to the song of My Town with Sammy Marsee and Tim Readnour performing.

There will be one winner, two runner-ups, one Miss Spirit & one Photogenic in each division. (No Photogenic winner in the Tiny Miss, Little Miss & Sweetheart divisions.) The division Queens will receive a Tiara, Scepter, Pin and Sash. Scholarship Queen will also receive a $500.00 scholarship.  Miss Spirit of each division will receive a Tiara, Pin and Sash.  Photogenic of each division will receive a Framed Photo, Medal & Sash.

This year Rural Heritage Festival Pageant participant divisions are:

Tiny Miss- Ages 2-4 years old (New Division)

Little Miss - Ages 5 - 6 years old

Sweetheart - Ages 7 - 8 years old

Duchess - Ages 9 - 12 years old

Princess - Ages 13 - 15 years old

Queen Scholarship - Ages 16 - 20 years old
